Jerry Reed (born Jerry Reed Hubbard, 20 Mar 1937 – 1 Sep 2008) was an American actor and Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter.
He played Snowman, Cledus Snow, in the 1977 feature film Smokey and the Bandit, and its sequels Smokey and the Bandit II and Smokey and the Bandit, Part 3.
He also wrote and performed "East Bound and Down", the theme song of the first film.
