Burt Reynolds (born 11 February 1936) is an American actor and former college football player. He is known for his roles in Deliverance, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, Cannonball Run, and Boogie Nights.
He played Bandit in the 1977 feature film Smokey and the Bandit, and its sequels Smokey and the Bandit II and Smokey and the Bandit, Part 3.
