Bandit Goes Country is the first in a series of four television movies entitled Bandit, spin-offs of Smokey and the Bandit. It first aired 30 Jan 1994.

Brian Bloom portrays Bandit in this series, though none of the other original characters are portrayed. As with the original, it was directed by Hal Needham.

Summary[]

Bandit goes home for a family reunion. Along the way, he meets music star Mel Tillis, who was forced to make an emergency landing when his plane was malfunctioning. Bandit helps Mel and gets into the music bootlegging business.
